GOVERNOR DAYTON AT FARMFEST ON AUGUST 2
It has been announced that Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton will be attending FARMFEST on the morning of Tuesday, August 2, and will be giving a Keynote Address at 10:15 AM that day, according to Kent Thiesse, FARMFEST Forum Coordinator. The Governor will address those in attendance at FARMFEST in the Forum Tent on the Show Site, which is located at the Gilfillan Estate on State Highway #67, 7 miles southeast of Redwood Falls, Minnesota. FARMFEST Forums Scheduled For 2011
FARMFEST will feature an exciting line-up of Feature Forums in 2011, according to Kent Thiesse, FARMFEST Forum Coordinator. The Forums will be held August 2, 3, and 4, in the Forum Tent on the FARMFEST Site, which is located at the Gilfillan Estate, 7 miles southeast of Redwood Falls, Minnesota. Thiesse said the Forum schedule for 2011 has a heavy emphasis on National and State agricultural policy issues, and on issues affecting rural Minnesota. Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton has been invited to make a keynote address on Thursday, August 4. All of the Forums will provide ample time for questions, and follow-up discussion by Panel members. Farmfest Adds Livestock Pavilion
REDWOOD FALLS, MINN–Farmfest, held August 2nd-4th at the Gilfillan Estate in Redwood County, will mark its 30th year next month with a new Livestock Exhibit Area that will house numerous livestock related vendors and exhibitors, and include a new forum stage with expert speakers who will address timely and important subjects related to the region's livestock sector.
